Dar-View Dairy Farm

I am Brad Darling of Dar-View Maple. Along with my brother Charlie we are the sixth generation of maple producers on the family farm. I recall as a young child always spending a lot of time in the sap house helping my grandparents, parents and uncle produce syrup. It was always a family endeavor. I would get off the school bus and go right to the sap house where my family would be boiling. I would help gather sap from the large maples on the front lawn with my little pail. My inspiration comes from my grandfather, Papa Bob Darling. He was a great man and extremely knowledgeable about everything in life. He was a hard working Dairy farmer who would find the time every spring to produce syrup. Papa Darling was always there to guide me and help me as I learned (some times the hard way) the ins and outs of maple syrup production.
